Where is Lebork?
Situated in Poland's Pomeranian province, Lebork has a lot to offer. The city itself is over 800 years old and it is the only city in the Pomeranian area that has retained its old city walls. The medieval castle located in town was build in the 14th century by the German-speaking Teutonic Knights. Near the town lies forests and numerous lakes. Only 30 km away one can find the Baltic sea and the resort town of Leba. The town offers sailing lessons in English, large sandy beaches, and a vibrant nightlife.
Next to Leba is the famous Slowinski National Park, which offers a large variety of hiking and picturesque beauty. Gdansk, Sopot, and Gdynia are only 80 km away and here one can find all the adventure that the tri-city area of Poland has to offer.
Lebork itself is the main attraction and offers the feel of a small Polish town while still offering many attractions. A vibrant town-square, high-quality and fairly-priced restaurants, and an array of food selections from pizza to Polish fare can all be found in Lebork.
